Here we go again, the great debate over whether "cancel culture" is real. It is real, as I wrote in my op-ed at Real Clear Politics, Cancel Culture Is Real. The people claiming cancel culture is not a real thing, that it's just a gripe of people who don't like being criticized, almost always are those on the giving, not receiving, end -- the people on campuses and in the culture who hold power in given institutions.

I appeared last night on the Laura Ingraham show to talk about my post, There’s an effort to get me fired at Cornell for criticizing the Black Lives Matter Movement. Much of the conversation turned on a Statement issued late yesterday afternoon by Cornell Law School Dean Eduardo M. Peñalver defending my academic freedom and stating that no disciplinary action would be taken, but otherwise condemning me.

She's not going away, though, she's obviously maneuvering for something behind the scenes, hence her unwillingness to endorse either Bernie or Biden at this time. What does she want? It could be a V.P. slot, but Bernie or Biden would be out of their minds to do that.
