President Donald Trump may receive some competition for most tweet-happy politician! Apparently emoji-filled tweets aren't enough for Chelsea Manning because she has filed papers to run for the Senate in Maryland. From The Washington Post:
Chelsea Manning, the transgender former Army private who was convicted of passing sensitive government documents to Wikileaks, has filed to run for the U.S. Senate in Maryland, according to federal election filings.

Remember during the Virginia governor race the left feigned anger over Republican candidate Ed Gillespie's ads on the problems the violent gang MS-13 poses? Someone show the left the latest report to come out of Virginia's neighbor Maryland. Police said members of MS-13 stabbed a man 100 times, decapitated him, tore out his heart, and buried him in a shallow grave..with his heart on top of him.

The FBI raided the Strategic Campaign Group (SCG) in Annapolis, MD Thursday, but refused to specify why it issued search warrants. Because SCG is connected to some of President  Trump's advisors, there's widespread speculation that the raid was related to the FBI's investigation into Russian associates. SCG's president Kelley Rogers told the Capital Gazette that the search pertained to work "the firm performed during the 2013 Virginia gubernatorial campaign of former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, a Republican."

Back in March, two illegal alien teens were charged with raping and sodomizing a 14-year-old girl in a high school bathroom.  After conducting an investigation into the case, prosecutors have dropped rape charges against the illegals; they are still facing child porn charges, however. The Baltimore Sun reported at the time:
The two teenagers accused of raping a ninth-grader at Rockville High School last week were among tens of thousands of young people who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally in 2016.

Baltimore is taking the idea of "sanctuary cities" to the next level in its ongoing "resistance" to President Trump's policy of enforcing our nation's immigration laws. The mayor has insisted that Baltimore is a "welcoming" rather than a "sanctuary" city, and earlier this month, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz signed an executive order regarding illegal immigrants.

The City of Baltimore has had a rough time over the last couple years. Riots and a high profile legal case, both of which were largely based on race, have dominated headlines. How is the city helped by hiring Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson for $165,000 to run human resources for Baltimore schools? Note how the Baltimore Sun has upgraded McKesson to "civil rights" activist:
Civil rights activist DeRay Mckesson to join new city schools cabinet Civil rights activist and former Baltimore mayoral candidate DeRay Mckesson will return to his old stamping grounds at city school headquarters to lead the district's office of human capital.
