    James O’Keefe Tag

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas released part three of its explosive investigation into CNN and its obsession with the Russia-President Donald Trump narrative. This video contains two parts surrounding New Day associate producer Jimmy Carr. He speaks to two investigators and tells them that Trump "is a clown," thinks voters are "stupid as sh*t," and guarantees that Trump has paid for abortions. O'Keefe then shows how Carr's New Day program edited a segment with Trump voters that made one man appear to be a conspiracy theorist.

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas dropped the second video of a series to expose the media's bias against President Donald Trump. This video catches CNN's Van Jones, one of the more prominent leftist contributors, admitting the Trump-Russia narrative is mostly a "nothing burger." Yesterday's video showed a CNN producer calling the narrative "mostly bullsh*t."

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas released the first video in a series they claim will expose the bias of mainstream media outlets. The video released Tuesday shows an investigator questioning CNN producer John Bonifield about the President Donald Trump-Russia narrative that has dominated the news cycle. Bonifield admitted to the investigator that Trump "is probably right to say, like you are witch hunting me" and that the narrative is "mostly bullsh*t right now" and the network doesn't "have any giant proof."

The latest Project Veritas video shows Democrat operatives admitting that Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ordered the Donald Duck campaign to bombard Donald Trump/Mike Pence events:
“In the end, it was the candidate, Hillary Clinton, the future president of the United States, who wanted ducks on the ground,” says [Democracy Partners founder Robert] Creamer in one of several exchanges. “So, by God, we would get ducks on the ground.” It is made clear that high-level DNC operative Creamer realized that this direct coordination between Democracy Partners and the campaign would be damning when he said: “Don’t repeat that to anybody.”

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas is at it again -- needling the hubris of Democratic operatives and claiming scalps. O'Keefe and his band of undercover videographers thrive during election season for obvious reasons -- if you're going to find instances of waste, fraud, and abuse, they're ripe for the picking before election day. Project Veritas' latest series of videos captured a Hillary campaign operative admitting to inciting violence at Trump rallies. "It doesn’t matter what the friggin’ legal and ethics people say, we need to win this motherfucker," said Scott Foval, National Field Director at Americans United for Change. "One of the things we do is we stage very authentic grassroots protests right in their faces at their own events. Like, we infiltrate."

Cornell University isn't paranoid, James O'Keefe really is out to get it. When Cornell Media Relations overreacted to Jesse Watters asking students questions on campus, I wrote that it made no sense on the surface, but might reflect paranoia about James O'Keefe, who previously did a sting video at Cornell:
What explains this overreaction? I suspect it was the Project Veritas video in which a Cornell assistant dean of students appeared to indicate a willingness to have ISIS train on campus. (As I made clear in my post about it, I don’t think the assistant dean understood the questions.) That created a firestorm of controversy to which university communications was very sensitive. But for Jesse Watters, these campus visits are out in the open and all in good fun. Cornell Media Relations should have left well enough alone. After all, it’s Watters, and everywhere is his world.
Fox News Cornell Watters World I should have known something was up when Project Veritas tweeted my comment about Cornell worrying about O'Keefe:

Months ago, independent undercover investigative journalist James O'Keefe crossed the U.S./Mexico border wearing an Osama bin Laden mask. The resultant video was referenced by John McCain in a Senate hearing with Department of Homeland Security officials. The last six times he re-entered the United States, he's been detained and questioned by CBP officials. The last two times, he recorded his interactions with Customs and Border Patrol.

James O'Keefe has released a sting video of an Assistant Dean of Students at Cornell University indicating to a purported potential foreign student that the school was amenable to pro-ISIS and pro-Hamas student clubs, and even training of "Freedom Fighters." I don't know the Assistant Dean and never heard of him before this, as he's not at the law school and we tend to be somewhat isolated from the rest of the University. I became aware of the video late last night when my wife saw it on The NY Post website (emphasis added):
This guy is either the dumbest Ivy League bigwig ever or politically correct to a fault — for welcoming offers to bring ISIS and Hamas to Cornell University. A video sting operation shows Cornell’s assistant dean for students, Joseph Scaffido, agreeing to everything suggested by an undercover muckraker posing as a Moroccan student. Scaffido casually endorses inviting an ISIS “freedom fighter’’ to conduct a “training camp” for students at the upstate Ithaca campus — bizarrely likening the activity to a sports camp. Is it OK to bring a humanitarian pro-“Islamic State Iraq and Syria” group on campus, the undercover for conservative activist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas asks. Sure, Scaffido says in the recorded March 16 meeting. Scaffido doesn’t even blink an eye when the undercover asks about providing material support for terrorists — “care packages, whether it be food, water, electronics.” How about supporting Hamas? No problem at all, Scaffido said.
    My first two impressions were:

In case you're not aware, the damning videos of MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, which confirmed the worst fears of every single critic of Obamacare, weren't uncovered by a journalist. The entire American media complex was scooped by a regular guy who started looking into the way the law was passed after losing his healthcare plan. James O'Keefe of Project Veritas recently sat down with the man only identified as "Rich" for an enlightening interview, in which he explains why he released the videos:
Project Veritas is releasing a video interview of the man who recently brought videos of MIT economist and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber to public attention. Award-winning journalist and best-selling author James O’Keefe conducted the interview, which is being distributed on YouTube. During the interview, “Rich” stated that there was intentional mislabeling in the Affordable Care Act in order to hide a secret agenda in the bill: A two-hundred-and-fifty billion dollar per year tax grab. “President Obama promised us the most transparent administration in history,” said Project Veritas President James O’Keefe. “Rich has opened a new debate about an effect of the Affordable Care Act which will impact over one hundred and fifty million Americans. We deserve to know if part of the Obamacare plan was intended to eliminate the two hundred and fifty billion dollar yearly tax break. If this is the case, we also deserve to why this information was kept from the public by the White House.”
Watch the interview below: All is not lost for Gruber. In fact, one person thinks he deserves an award.

For Colorado Democrats, voter fraud isn't just a way of life---it's an awesome way of life. James O'Keefe has released more raw footage showing employees of three separate Democratic groups in Colorado---Work For Progress, Greenpeace, and the Rep. Joe Salazar campaign---directly condoning James' suggestions about how to commit voter fraud using mail in ballots. Watch: This isn't just criminal---it's enthusiastically criminal. Progressives like Donna Brazile may believe that allegations of voter fraud are "a big ass lie," but the only big ass lie I'm seeing is the lie Democrats in Colorado are telling when they say they're working for fair and equal representation for the citizens of their state. John Fund at National Review points out that Colorado officials have repeatedly warned legislators about the very real prospect of mass-mailed ballots being used to commit voter fraud:

James O'Keefe and the crew at Veritas Action Fund are in search of a supporter of Alison Grimes supporter who actually believes her campaign position that she's not anti-coal industry. The other day O'Keefe released a video in which various assorted Democratic operatives and Grimes supporters used the "L" word in describing her position. Today O'Keefe has released another video in which a financial backer using the "F" word as to what Grimes will do to the coal industry if elected. Language Warning Here's a partial transcript posted by O'Keefe:

This is a follow up to the undercover video by James O'Keefe's Project Veritas in which Chris Tarango, Texas Communications Director for Enroll America, was caught offering to help make a connection between the non-profit Obamacare enrollment group and what he thought was a Democratic Party operative. The operative was part of O'Keefe's sting operation. The video gave rise to a challenge to Enroll America's non-profit status, Fox News reported:
On Friday, a self-described nonprofit, nonpartisan government accountability group filed a complaint with the IRS that Enroll America was violating its tax-exempt status by participating in partisan politics, citing the Project Veritas video as evidence. The group, Cause for Action, has also written a letter to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot, asking him to investigate whether Enroll America and other groups have violated the state’s laws and the IRS code.
Now Tarango has resigned according to O'Keefe's website:
