In-N-Out Burger is a California institution. In fact, my family recently capped off a college tour of that state, and we all ordered Double Double meals! Yet after it was discovered that the business committed the Democratic Party designated sin of donating to the Republican Party for the upcoming election, the chair of the California Democratic Party thought the smart move was to call for a boycott.

For many years we’ve been documenting anti-Israel activity on U.S. university and college campuses, typically part of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and carried out by student groups like Students for Justice in Palestine. In these prior posts we’ve described many instances when this Israel-related activism has crossed over the line into blatant anti-Jewish animus, including at schools as diverse as Vassar, Oberlin, and University of Illinois.

Why are so many of America’s mainline churches partnering with the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), an anti-Israel organization which allegedly has financial ties to terror groups and is a leader and mobilizer of BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) activism? As we’ve highlighted in many prior posts, the USCPR has long played an outsized role in advancing a vehemently anti-Israel agenda in America’s Protestant churches.

From June 16-23 the General Assembly (GA) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will meet in St. Louis where delegates will consider for passage at least eight Israel-related resolutions. By contrast, in terms of its Middle East coverage, the GA is slated to consider only one overture “responding to the current Syrian crisis” and one responding to the devastating humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

Parkland activist David Hogg has carved out a special place in the hearts and minds of the uber-left and is thoroughly enjoying every minute, seeming at times drunk with the power he perceives he possesses. Hogg has no power on his own, of course, but he does have substantial power bestowed upon him by the targets of his destructive activism, power that Publix, at least, acknowledges as it suspends political donations in light of Hogg's anti-Second Amendment, anti-NRA "die-in" effort.

The leftist attempt to take down Fox News by methodically targeting each show's host and the show's advertisers seems to have hit a wrinkle as Laura Ingraham's show is still boasting high ratings.  In addition to her high ratings, she has also had one advertiser return to her show. Ace Hardware, my new favorite hardware retailer, has returned to Ingraham's show.  They say that they made the decision to pull their ads because they didn't have the whole story.

It appears that Fox News will not give in to the David Hogg, Media Matters and #TheResistance driven faux outrage over Laura Ingraham's mild rebuke of Hogg as someone who "whines." That faux outrage has been used to intimidate advertisers into fleeing Ingraham's highly-rated program. Fox News co-President Jack Abernathy just released this statement (via L.A. Times):

There is an all out assault in progress trying to drive Laura Ingraham off television and radio, led by Parkland student and newly-minted media star David Hogg. Ingraham is a target, superficially, because she mocked Hogg as a whiner in a tweet after he publicly griped that several colleges had rejected him. On the scale of internet insults, saying that someone is "whining" doesn't even register it's so mild.

Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg has spent the last month and a half criticizing 2nd Amendment supporters in the most grotesque terms. His latest tirade accused those who disagree with him as "sick f**kers":
"I’m beyond exhausted," Hogg said. "I get to a certain point where I just get so tired that I keep going. It creates a positive feedback loop in some ways — the more stress and work I put on me, the more stress and work I can deal with."

  The pattern of leftist thugs trying to take down a company or person over support for or even affiliation with a cause they don't like is repeating itself, this time at L.L. Bean, the famed Maine-based company. Boston Magazine reports:
Trump opponents are waging a campaign to boycott L.L. Bean after it came to light that a member of the family that runs the business, Linda Bean, donated a healthy sum of $60,000 to a Trump-supporting super PAC. A group called Grab Your Wallet, which maintains a list of companies to avoid due to ties to Trump, called for a boycott, and now leadership at the company is taking those threats seriously, urging people not to let politics influence their opinions of a 100-year-old brand.
