    Sunday afternoon Trump waved as he drove by crowds of supporters gathered outside of Walter Reed, a move his team claims was cleared by doctors.

    But I guess they didn’t run it by this guy. Dr. James P. Phillips is an attending physician at Walter Reed and Sunday evening, criticized the President’s drive-by mere theater that put “lives at risk.”

    Dr. Phillips (a regular on CNN) tweeted:

    Earlier, Dr. Phillips also tweeted:

    Catherine Herridge at CBS News tweeted that White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere said the doctors gave the okay to do the drive-by.

    Trump wore a mask while Secret Service wore protective gear and N-95 masks.

    Dr. Sean Conley, Trump’s physician, told the media on Saturday that morning that the president had been without a fever for 24 hours.

    Usually, a person is not infectious after they’ve been fever-free for 24 hours without the help of Tylenol, Advil, or any fever-reducing medicines.

    The CDC recommends you stay away from people for at least 10 days since the symptoms first appeared. They also say 24 hours without a fever as well.

    @realDonaldTrump
    I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

    Dr Phillips is so consumed with envy of the president’s vigor and robustness, and the pedestrian public’s demonstrated abundance of adoration and support for their elected, besieged leader that he fails to recognize in his inane critique his own professional deficiencies and buffoonery.

    Classic idiot, a certifiable poseur.

    I thought it was an article of established faith that masks are a gold standard of protection against covid-19. Robert Redfield said “This face mask is more guaranteed to protect me against Covid than when I take a Covid vaccine”. Why should anybody in that car be quarantined?
