Elizabeth Warren Already Jockeying for Treasury Secretary in Biden Administration

“Warren plans to make her case for the position” if Biden wins
    Listen to this article

Elizabeth Warren has moved straight past the ‘measuring the Oval Office for new drapes’ stage, and directly into the ‘here’s the job I want when we take over’ phase of the election.

We’re four days from the election, but Warren is already positioning herself for Treasury Secretary in the Biden Administration. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

Brittany De Lea reports at FOX News:

Warren eyes Treasury Secretary job in potential Biden White House: report

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was once competing against Joe Biden for the 2020 Democratic nomination, but now she reportedly wants to join his administration if he wins the election.

Warren is eyeing the Treasury Secretary position in a potential Biden administration, according to an exclusive report from Politico on Thursday, which cited three Democratic officials who have spoken with her inner circle.

Warren plans to make her case for the position depending on the outcome of next week’s election, the publication said.

Neither the Biden campaign nor Warren’s office responded to Fox News’ request for comment.

Here’s more from the Politico report by Alex Thompson and Megan Cassella:

Warren will make case to be Biden’s Treasury secretary

Elizabeth Warren wants to be Joe Biden’s Treasury secretary and will make her case for it if he wins next week, according to three Democratic officials who have spoken with her inner circle.

“She wants it,” two of them said matter-of-factly.

Warren’s moves could set up the marquee fight between the party’s left and its center over what will be one of the most consequential Cabinet roles in the next administration. The Treasury Department will be tasked with steering the U.S. economy out of a deep recession, even as the country continues to struggle with the coronavirus pandemic…

Tapping Warren would rally progressives who have been pushing — some quietly, others loudly — for her to get the role. But it would also likely draw strong opposition from Wall Street and some moderate Democrats.

    What could possibly go wrong?

I have only one question. According to Elizabeth Warren, aren’t decisions about cabinet positions supposed to be made by a transgender child?

Great. Elizabeth Warren as Secretary of the Treasury and Bernie Sanders as Secretary of Labor. Well, why not? We’re going to have President Xi of China as Biden’s defacto national security adviser and Hunter Biden as Director of National Intelligence. Maybe that stripper Hunter knocked up can be head of HHS in lieu so she can collect a fat government check in lieu of the child support Hunter tried to weasel out of. The grandchild that Joe Biden refuses to acknowledge when he talks about how many grandkids he has (one of 2, actually).

Joe Biden is promising that he’ll take of your family like he does his own.

I don’t know what that means. Either we all get $50k/mo. no-show-jobs from corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs and/or CHICOM apparatchiks, or he’ll treat us like the bastard grand kid he’d rather forget about.
