Finally, after months of criticizing Trump for the same suggestion, Democrats have come round and endorsed the CDC’s recommendation that schools should reopen.
This would be hilarious if they weren’t so horrendously shameless.

There’s only one explanation for the gaslighting — advocating for endless shutdowns and school closures is killing them politically and is going to tank funding to some of their most loyal donors and supporters — unions.

My guess is that they're looking at the #s and see parents choosing alternate methods of schooling – private, homeschools, microschools. The decreasing amount of students = less $ public schools are receive. The change of heart is to get parents to go back to the "free" option.
