President Donald Trump went off on his former attorney general Jeff Sessions on Twitter after Sessions claimed Alabama “can and does trust” him.
Sessions is running for his old Alabama Senate seat. He will face off against former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville, who has received Trump’s endorsement.
I guess Sessions had a problem with Trump’s tweet that praised Tuberville.

Trump criticized Sessions for recusing himself from the collusion investigation. He also said Sessions “had no courage, & ruined many lives.”

Sessions pointed out that he had to recuse himself based on the law and recommended firing James Comey from day one.

Roy Moore is a charlatan who emotionally manipulated too many of my fellow Alabamians to advance himself politically. Setting the Ten Commandments monument up in the dead of night was an obvious ploy (google it). He did some goofy crap. I was glad to see him come in so far behind in the Republican primary.
In many ways I like Doug Jones because how he thinks but he’ll never stay a senator from Alabama for two reasons: He favors abortion and he votes with the other Dimocrats in the Senate. He honestly has the state at heart, but it’s too bad he’s not more independent. I’ll regret having to vote for his opponent this fall.
Sessions was in some ways acceptable as a senator but he’s part of the Washington establishment. It’s time for him to retire.
This leaves Tuberville who will soon face Sessions in a runoff. In some ways he’s an unknown but so was Trump. The fact he retired to Florida (what the hey – millions do) doesn’t bother me as long as he represents Alabama’s interests in the Senate. We got turnover when Jones was elected, just not exactly as we wanted it, but the alternative was being humiliated by Roy Moore’s antics and NOBODY with a brain wanted that embarrassment. Now we can “do turnover” again and, hopefully, do well with it.

Moore was an amateur in a professional fight. He may have been principled, but lacked the talent to beat the media.
People need to remember, Trump won because people wanted to change things and hated Hilary.
Will trillions of more debt and a stupid pandemic that we shut down our economy over (when we did not do that for the 100 K dead Hong Kong Flu). Trump is skating on thin ice.
The GOP screwed up 2 years of majority. Why? Voting Dem is bad news, but the GOP is not delivering the groceries and I don’t see that changing.
