George Soros says Elizabeth Warren is “the most qualified to be president”

NY Times: Soros “quickly added” that it’s not an endorsement, “perhaps realizing that any comment construed as an endorsement is likely to be used by her opposition.”

George Soros, the billionaire busybody behind a long list of leftist endeavors to wrest from free people their freedom, is looking at the 2020 presidential election.

He likes what he sees in Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and thinks that she is “the most qualified to be president.”

Perhaps recognizing that his endorsement will do her campaign more harm than good, he quickly qualified his statement by adding that his statement is “not an endorsement.”

    The New York Times reports:

Mr. Soros’s bet is that Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts will become the Democratic nominee to compete against Mr. Trump.

“She has emerged as the clear-cut person to beat,” he said. “I don’t take a public stance, but I do believe that she is the most qualified to be president.”

He quickly added that he was not endorsing Ms. Warren, perhaps realizing that any comment construed as an endorsement is likely to be used by her opposition.

“I’m not endorsing anybody because I want to work with whoever,” he said. “I don’t express my views generally because I have to live with whoever the electorate chooses.”

According to Axios, his statement “matters” because “Soros has donated tens of millions of dollars to Democratic candidates over the last few election cycles and set up his own super PAC ahead of the 2020 presidential election.”

    Except the current president, apparently.

Lot’s of pieces out today that seem to be positioning Tulsi as the anti-establishment progressive darling with team Clinton as the spoiler of the pretty woman’s dreams.

Bernie aligning with AOC and joing with Tulsi against Clinton the DNC? Not seeing how that wins a general election. Is that a pig I just saw fly past my window?

Having George come out and endorse Warren may be an attempt to calm things until the convention. Interesting.

By Mr. Soros’s logic, I should be the most qualified to have billions of dollars. Yet, oddly enough, I don’t. Hmm!

That must mean Big Chief is now accepting political donations from billionaires. I guess she is for sale too for the right price.
