Somehow we doubt this will change Trump’s mind on Jerusalem and U.S. aid.

Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel has angered the Palestinian Authority leadership so much that they cut off diplomacy with the U.S. regarding peace talks with Israel.

Mahmoud Abbas tried, unsuccessfully, to get the Europeans to substitute for the U.S., and has launched nearly deranged tirades against the Trump (and also denied Jewish history in the region).

The U.S. previously has curtailed donations to UNRWA, the UN agency devoted exclusively to Palestinian “refugees” (a group uniquely defined not only as the refugees themselves, but all descendents). Trump also threatened to cut off the hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. aid to the PA after the PA leadership refused to meet with VP Mike Pence on his recent visit to Israel, as we covered in Trump: Palestinians “disrespected us” by not meeting “our great Vice President” during Israel trip.

Talk about disrespectful. Palestinian protesters just hanged and burned Trump and Pence in effigy, on TV.

The Times of Israel has the story:

Palestinian television on Saturday aired a video of Palestinians carrying out a mock-execution of US President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Effigies of the US leaders were hanged and then burned in a street in the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem….

Wattan TV said the action was intended as a “rejection” by protesters of US cuts to UNRWA. Wattan is an independent TV station based in Ramallah.

Before the “execution” protesters held up Palestinian flags and various placards, including one with pictures of Trump, Pence and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, all with ‘X’ marks on them. Above them was written: “Zionism = Nazism = fascism. USA = ISIS = terror.”

Here is the full video from the TV station’s Facebook page:

Somehow, I don’t think this is going to change Trump’s mind.

That’ll totally get Trump to release funds to them.
