David Brock Offers Cash for Dirt on Trump

David Brock Offers Cash for Dirt on Trump

“I understand the prohibition on press paying for stories, but we’re not the press.”

Hillary Clinton backer David Brock of Media Matters is desperate for a new line of attack on Donald Trump and is willing to pay cash to anyone who can help him find it.

This doesn’t look desperate at all, does it?

    The Washington Free Beacon reported:

David Brock Offers Money for New Dirt on Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton ally David Brock is offering to pay for new information on Donald Trump, hoping that damaging audio or video on the Republican presidential candidate will be submitted to his super PAC.

Brock, founder of the left-wing Media Matters and operator of Correct the Record super PAC, recently posted the plea on Correct the Record’s website and is referring to the project as “TrumpLeaks,” NBC News reported.

Brock asked for video or audio of Trump that has yet to be released.

“One of the most important things for voters to evaluate in any election is the full measure of a candidate’s views, ideas, and temperament over time,” the website states. “In making a choice for president, voters must also consider how various candidates present themselves to the public and to the world. There are few things more important in that regard than access to video or audio in the form of prior television or radio interviews or more candid video from events a candidate may have attended.”

Brock’s super PAC goes on to say they can offer compensation to anyone who has new video or audio that has been obtained legally.

We’ve covered David Brock’s antics numerous times:

NBC News seems to think Brock’s tactics are unusual:

Democratic Super PAC to Pay for Dirt on Donald Trump

Posting a bounty for dirt on a political opponent is highly unusual in modern politics and seems to cross a new line in the rules of war. “We’re going to extraordinary lengths because this is an extraordinary situation,” Brock said.

But Brock is no stranger to high-profile stunts. Just this summer, he lined up an anonymous donor who promised to give $5 million to a Veterans charity if Trump released his tax returns. And it’s not entirely unprecedented. For instance, Penthouse publisher Larry Flint once offered $1 million to anyone who could prove they had an affair with former Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Media outlets generally refuse to pay sources for information due to ethical concerns, and Brock suspects that’s kept potential sources from going public with sensitive information. “I understand the prohibition on press paying for stories, but we’re not the press,” he said.

The irony is that no one has to dig for dirt on Hillary.

    It’s all right there.

With photoshop all things are possible. It’ll be Trump behind the grassy knoll.

Actually, I’m expecting the internet community to respond with a number of humorous ‘shops. Trump killing J.R. Ewing. Trump on the Wicked Witch of the West’s broom. Trump piloting a Zero at Pearl Harbor. Trump in his marshmallow form, tromping through New York (oh, wait. It’s been done.)

David Brock is one messed up person. He has trouble with his identity both personally and politically and is only focused on expressing his anger and lack of self worth though trashing people. Without this validation. I am betting his head will explode. If we are lucky, it will happen before the election.

I would have said the irony was in: “There are few things more important in that regard than access to video or audio in the form of prior television or radio interviews or more candid video from events a candidate may have attended.”

Isn’t the Clinton campaign barring cameras from most of her appearances and events?

what I want is to give cash to shave this guys head. Also, the Sec of Energy. Both are worse than Trump hair. we should pull the cosmetology license of their hairdressers. There are crimes of the hair you know.
