Nice truck terrorist no lone wolf, spent months planning attack with others

Not what the media portrayed immediately after the attack.

Immediately after the terrorist attack by Mohamed Bouhlel in Nice, France, we were told he was a lone wolf, a guy “recently radicalized,” suffering from depression, with no connection to Islamists or ISIS, a guy who just went crazy and drove his truck through a crowd.

It was all BS, meant to deflect from the Islamic motivation and ties to terror networks.

The cracks began to show when it was learned Bouhlel was texting with others shortly before the attack and several possible accomplices were arrested several days ago, *Shocked* – Nice truck terrorist maybe wasn’t a “lone wolf” after all.

Now we can put all the “lone wolf” stuff to rest, as well as the “recently radicalized” excuses. France 24  reports, Nice truck killer had support, accomplices for carefully planned attack:

French truck killer Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel received logistical support preparing for his deadly Bastille Day attack in Nice from five suspects who are now in custody, Paris prosecutor François Molins revealed Thursday.

“The investigation underway since the night of July 14 has progressed and not only confirmed the murderous premeditated nature of Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel’s act, but has also established that he benefitted from support and accomplices,” Molins told a news conference in Paris Thursday….

The five suspects included French, Tunisian and an Albanian nationals, said Molins

Investigations of Bouhlel’s phone records and computer files revealed links to the detained people, including plans to acquire the truck, which was used to plough through the crowd gathered at Nice’s beachfront to watch the Bastille Day fireworks and a gun used by the assailant during the attack….

In one chilling turn of events, Molins said that one of the suspects, a Tunisian named Mohamed Oualid G., had filmed the scene of the crime the day after the carnage, as it crawled with paramedics and journalists.

The attack was planned over months:

Analysis of Bouhlel’s telephone revealed pictures taken at a Bastille Day fireworks display in Nice in 2015, as well as a concert on the city’s Promenade des Anglais on July 17, 2015, at which he had zoomed in on the crowd.

On May 26 last year, he took a photo of an article about the drug Captagon, which Molins said was “used by some jihadists responsible for attacks”.

“It appears… that Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel planned and developed his criminal project for several months before taking action,” said Molins.

On April 4, another Tunisian, Chokri C., aged 37, had sent Bouhlel a Facebook message reading: “Load the truck with 2,000 tonnes of iron… release the brakes my friend and I will watch”.

This needs to be stated, again and again. It is important. People need to know the risks and threats out there.

Obama and Clinton’s progressive wars, opportunistic regime changes, withdrawal of honest brokers, and anti-native policies continue to pay dividends with elective abortions and a catastrophic anthropogenic humanitarian disaster that is not limited to the privacy of abortion chambers and Planned Parenthood offices.

Islam is not a religion but a globalist death cult started by a pedo-raping-murdering mad man. Unlike other real religions, Islam is a huge threat to both the American and anti-American ways of like that do not align with it self. Where are the Leftist atheist when Islam is addressed instead of Christianity? This is about protecting the American way of life the same life that gave you the ability to be free and complain about it.

I have wondered about the answer to your question. While the leftists/Marxists see very different and incompatible end states, they share a common short range goal — the destruction of the USA as a land of liberty. The leftists think they will win the next phase with the help of the EU and the Islamists think they will win the next phase with the help of Iran. Iran sees this so they are also trying to destroy Europe. Obama also sees this so he is siding with Iran. The leftists are arrogant fools. They fall when the USA falls but they do not see it.

        I meant to say:

There is no such thing as a “lone wolf” attack. These cowardly animals may ACT alone in their attacks, but they had plenty of help in the planning. The media portrays them as “lone wolf”–they sound less threatening that way. What they seem to forget….wolves travel in large packs.

That was my line of thinking. “Lone wolf” attacks are EXTREMELY rare (not completely unheard of, but pretty close) and usually cause fewer casualties and less damage.

Because of their rarity, I always question whether the media has it right or whether they’re being told what to broadcast.

It comes down to what I call “Scooby Doo logic”: After hundreds of episodes, hundreds of mysteries solved, and every single one ending with Scooby and the gang pulling the mask off the “phantom” to reveal a normal human being, why the Hell is their default assumption still “It’s a ghost!” every time they’re faced with a new mystery?

I mean, I understand that it makes for more entertaining TV; if Scooby and the gang defaulted to, “I bet it’s just another guy in a costume,” the episode would be over in about two minutes. But that’s hardly a valid excuse for a news broadcast.

Curious how these “disaffected psycho loners” committing terrorist attacks while screaming “allahu ackbar” always seem to have so many helpful friends . . . .

      My two cents:

The “disaffected psycho loners” still need to interact with other humans. Humans are social creatures; even the most independent loners among us need friends.

But being “disaffected psychos”, everyone they already know has shunned them (and usually spread the word, so that even people they’ve never met recognize and avoid them). So they latch — and latch hard — on the first group to show any acceptance at all. They fully assume the group identity and develop some of the same personality traits as the other members of the group.

Given that, you can see how the outcome greatly depends on which group is the first to show acceptance. If it were a Christian church’s community outreach program, the result would be far different that if it were an inner-city street gang. Or, case in point, a bunch of Islamic radicals.

ISIS and criminal gang recruiters look for certain personality types to bring on-board. “Disaffected psycho loners” make prime fodder for shaping and manipulating into willing participants in suicide missions.

      Scary, but true.
