Dinesh D’Souza Film “Hillary’s America” Opens in July

Dinesh D’Souza Film “Hillary’s America” Opens in July

Just in time for the Democratic Convention and launch of general election campaign.

Dinesh D’Souza’s new film Hillary’s America will open this summer on July 15th, three days before the start of the Republican National Convention and ten days before the Democratic National Convention.

    Deadline Hollywood reports:

Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘Hillary’s America’ Docu Set To Open Just Before GOP Convention

EXCLUSIVE: No word yet if Dinesh D’Souza’s Hillary’s America: The Secret History of The Democratic Party will be playing in Cleveland when the Republicans have their national convention in the Ohio city from July 18-21 and are expected to nominate Donald Trump for President but the provocative pic will be on the big screen for sure. The third documentary from the bestselling author and D’Souza’s solo directing debut, Hillary’s America is opening on limited release on July 15 before going wide a week later on July 22, Deadline has learned.

The timing of the very Clinton critical docu also works perfectly leading into the Democrats’ Philadelphia convention, which starts on July 25 and runs until July 28. Having co-helmed the second most successful docu of all time with 2016: Obama’s America back in 2012 and the 6th most successful docu ever America: Imagine The World Without Her in 2014, D’Souza’s latest and election focused film is based on his book Stealing America: What My Experience with Criminal Gangs Taught Me about Obama, Hillary and the Democratic Party, which came out last November. Like 2016 and America, the Quality Flix/D’Souza Entertainment distributed Hillary’s America is a combo of interviews and reenactments, both historical and contemporary.

If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the official trailer below:

Andrew Breitbart once famously said that all politics is downstream from culture. In his new and successful career as a filmmaker, D’Souza has embraced that concept.

Frontpage Mag has some remarks D’Souza recently made on the subject:

Dinesh D’Souza: Confronting the Left’s Cultural Monopoly

As you know I’ve been a writer most of my career and a speaker, think-tank guy from AEI and Hoover. I’ve pivoted in my career and now moved into trying to tackle these areas where the left is so strong. I want to say a word about movies. We’re making a film. It’s called “Hillary’s America.” My plan is to release it in July about the week of the Democratic convention. That way, they have their narrative and we have a counter-narrative. And this film is not – well, my earlier film four years ago was just about Obama, kind of the secret history about Obama. This film is a secret history not just of Hillary, but of the Democratic Party.

And here, there is a huge argument that to my knowledge has never been publicly hashed out, which is, which is actually the party of emancipation and human rights and civil rights and equality of rights; which historically and now is the party that stands for these things? Well, the Democratic Party says, “We are. That’s our MO. That’s what we do.” And what we show in this film is not just the Democratic Party was the party of slavery, but the Democratic Party was also the party of segregation and Jim Crow and the Ku Klux Klan and lynching. It was also the party of Japanese internment and forced sterilization and sympathy for fascism in the 1930s. This is their history.

Good for Dinesh: He does not quit, while most are afraid to take even the first step.

It looks like a high-production-value product, and packed with historical insights.

I don’t need the insights of an immigrant attacking my ancestors. He should have been deported.

Which ancestors would those be? Andrew Jackson in particular or Democrats between the Civil War and Civil rights? Sort of like this:

A minister was preaching in a small Methodist church and asked the congregation, “How many of you folks here this morning are Methodists?”
Everybody raised a hand, except one little old lady.
After the service, when she and the priest were shaking hands, the minister said, “Ma’am, I noticed you didn’t raise your hand. That means you’re not a Methodist. Would you mind telling me what you are?”
She said, “Well, I’m a Baptist.”
Some of the people standing around didn’t seem to appreciate her answer. The minister asked her, “Ma’am, would you mind telling me why you’re a Baptist?”
She said, “I really don’t know, except my mother was a Baptist, my father was a Baptist, my grandmother and my grandfather were Baptists.”
The minister said, “Ma’am, that’s really not a good reason to be a Baptist. Suppose your mother and your father, and your grandmother and your grandfather had been morons, what would you have been?”
Without batting an eye, she said, “I guess I’d have been a Methodist.”

I still imagine the Obama administration banning the film and the courts taking several months to overrule them. I’d like to be wrong.

A movie by a criminal immigrant, he should have been deported after his release, that attacks Andrew Jackson while trying to make a hero of the terrorist John Brown? No thanks.

This movie shows the failure of our national immigration policy since 1965. We should not have immigrants attacking traditional Americans to try and score political points.

Clinton belongs in prison and D’Souza belongs back in India.

Here is a liberal “thang” you can try: check your biases. Are you sure you aren’t just a little pissed off that here this “brown” man is doing work that Americans refuse to do?

He is Indian? Excellent. A brilliant fellow. I thought his earlier movie was excellent, and I look forward to supporting this one with my ticket money. Perhaps he has taken his assimilation work more seriously than many citizens do.

Hey Chris Mallory: What are you doing to make America great again?

I still have this mental image of Hillary, reclining in her throne and saying, “Who will rid me of this troublesome filmmaker?”
