Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina fall off the debate main stage

Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina fall off the debate main stage

And then there were just seven Republicans.

Fox Business News announced the line up for the January 14, 2016 Republican Debate. This is the last debate before the Iowa caucuses.

Mercifully, we are down to just 7 people on main stage. The Big Names not on stage anymore are Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina.

Jeb is now on the edge, physically and metaphorically.

Looking back, it’s interesting how there has been a realignment. Jeb is moving on down, and Christie fought his way back. What has not changed is Trump in the center position, and a solidifying of what everyone knows — it’s Trump at the top, Cruz as the main challenger.

Carson is a goner. Jeb is a goner.  Rubio, Kasich and Christie are vying for the non-Trump, non-Cruz candidacy.

Here’s how things looked at the mid-December 2015 CNN debate:

Rand Paul will not participate in the undercard debate, his campaign annnounced. Because he has some self-respect.

There should only be 3 or 4 people left. Who decides who remains ? Is it a legit. Poll or family pressure ?

You now they kept Kasich around just so he can insult the other candidates, when he should have been banished to the undercard.

…? Why does Jeb Bush still think he has a chance at the nomination? isn’t his poll numbers like at 3% or less…

he seems to be wasting money, doing all of this…
ultimately, Trump is going to be the nominee. 😀

I don’t trust Ted Cruz… mostly because from what I’ve seen of him the GOP establishment seem to want him as the nominee so they can exert some control over him… and he will cater to them… they don’t fund campaigns like his unless they get special favors in return. besides that, Cruz seems to be too mired in politically correctiveness.

….and like Romney …probably won’t take it to Hillary (if she ends up being the nominee…) tho Hillary doesn’t seem electable at this point… due to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33vZR2IV0Mc

she’ll be lucky if she’s able to avoid prison at this point.

I think you are getting Cruz and Rubio confuse. Rubio is the GOPe buttboy.

As far as Jeb, he is still in because he is hoping for a brokered convention so that he might be handed the nomination.

How Bush and Kasich are on the main stage in front of Firoini is beyond belief. Bush has spent 100million and he’s only at 2%. HELLO….no body is buying his bull.
