WATCH LIVE UPDATES: 14 Dead in San Bernardino Shooting

    Updates as they occur

A shooting spree in San Bernardino resulted in the murder of at least fourteen, according to initial reports. Latest reports indicate up to 14 others were wounded and currently receiving medical treatment.

Local live updates are here. Local law enforcement indicated they will provide hourly updates which you can also watch here:

Federal authorities are also involved in the investigation.

    According to CNN:

The hunt for one to three suspects was taking place near a San Bernardino, California, center for people with developmental disabilities, where at least 14 people were killed Wednesday, Police Chief Jarrod Burguan told reporters.

Fourteen other people were wounded in the shooting, Burguan said.

SWAT teams and the bomb squad were working to clear the buildings where the shootings took place.

[Latest developments, posted at 5:27 p.m. ET]

    • The suspects were armed with long guns, Burguan told reporters. “These were people that came prepared. … They were armed with long guns, not hand guns,” he told reporters. Most of the victims were “centrally located in one area of the facility,” Burguan said. Police didn’t exchange gunfire with the shooters, he added.

    • “At this point, I know one of your questions is going to be ‘Is this a terrorist incident?’ I will tell you right now we do not know if this is a terrorist incident,” David Bowdich, an assistant director for Los Angeles FBI’s office told reporters.

    • The shootings were in the conference center at the Inland Regional Center, the center’s executive director, Lavinia Johnson, told CNN. She believes the county’s Department of Public Health was having a holiday party there. Johnson said the fire alarm went off in her building, and people began to evacuate but then the order came to stay in place. Later police came and took people out of their offices.

Moonbeam Brown is sending the wrong message.

“California Gov. Jerry Brown canceled the state’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony Wednesday night “out of respect for Californians affected by today’s tragedy,””

He should be inviting as many as can make it to the lighting ceremony as a memorial to those slain celebrating Christmas, since the target of the attack appears to have been a Christmas party.

One of the dead suspects has been named. Syed Farook. Sounds like a died in the wool, NRA supporting tea party member.

The Left will get us all killed.

Yes, but not by terrorists. It will be the leftists who gain fascistic control of the government who would kill us. It will be our own government who will do the killing.

First, they get us with the IRS. Then, they start with controlling our health care. Then they indict us at every chance they can. Then, they get us with UN global warming regulation and silence our speech. Then, they kill.

All part of the plan – and enabled every step of the way by the likes of Squeaker Boehner and that scumbag McConnell.

Those Lutherans again, always going out and shooting up the town. What have they got against Christmas?

If Americans could share a portion of the anger I have right now, we could throw Barry Hussein and all his Muzzie- / Black Panther-sympathizer sociopaths out of office before they could do any more damage.
