The One who got away, and other random tweets

Some random tweets I bookmarked this past week.

    In no particular order.

    The One who got away:

    You’ve lost Mother Jones … :

But you still have the Editor-In-Chief of

    Cynthia Tucker to the rescue!

    Sorry to disappoint:

Pretty much sums up the week in news coverage:

Which of course assumes they are capable of embarrassment:

Why would anybody even EXPECT MSNBC to not shill for Islamic terrorists? It’s that expectation that gives them cover from mockery and being otherwise ignored.

Why give these few, few people so much attention — attention they truly want?

    Hey guys, Professor,

Let me tell you something that may be a bit amusing.

National Geographic TV has been broadcasting this six-part documentary series about the 1980s – a Must-Watch for those of us who grew up during that decade.

I found it while I was channel-surfing today, and then was good at the reminiscence… when I saw, as one of the featured opinion speakers (such as Steve Tyler, Peter Robinson, George Schultz, Oliver Stone, etc), the very same IDIOT Sirota who openly hoped and wished the damned terrorists were “White American.”

I tell you guys, in my Latin temper, I simply couldn’t contain myself. I kept screaming at the TV screen every single time he appeared and called him every cuss word in the English language. The Duke couldn’t understand what I was doing and why, so I explained it to him. “That’s the Idiot! See? And yet he dares to show his face on a documentary that showed one of the best decades in the USA ever – even comment on Ronald Reagan?!?!?” If anyone deserves every bit of contempt from the American People for being such an explicit RACIST, it is this Idiot. (I speak as a Hispanic woman married to a white man.)

Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my own personal version of revenge.

Stacy McCain spanks that Idiot publicly. And so does Goldstein from Protein Wisdom. A quote from Stacy just to whet your appetite:

“An infamous liar undeserving of trust, Sirota’s preferred method of “argument” is to defame people he hates — see his notorious 2011 column, “Why Many Evangelical Christians Are More ‘Un-American’ Than US Muslims” — and then to accuse them of being either too stupid or too cowardly to engage his “arguments.””

Rich and juicy info on past dirty tricks, from the Philly Enquirer, and video of Idiot ranting as a psychotic included.

Idiot has been having a Twitter war and blocking people because he’s being spanked publicly with a big slammer – publicly. And I mean, very public and very big.

There’s a certain peace in not knowing who Sirota is (never heard of him, never watched him, but I could write in advance what he says), and a certain effect on useful idiots when they quote him and I say, “Never heard of him — and you have no idea what you’re talking about.”
