    Does anyone speak Canadian?

    Does anyone speak Canadian?

Because I need some help with these.

    From Linda in Tennessee:

Professor, I was riding shotgun along I-65 North Saturday, when I saw a truck bumper full of stickers. I couldn’t read them, but experience has taught me to snap away and then try to read them after loading into the computer.

You’ve had a busy week. I salute your coverage of the events in Boston. Fortunately for the US, the cameras were rolling and our Law Enforcement agencies jumped into action, unlike the “off-camera” events in Benghazi which left three heroes and an ambassador dead months later and no justice in sight.

FWIW, “Tollers” refers to a dog breed: a variety of retrievers.

YouTube has their scream in the first seconds of this video … I had never heard of them.

Tollers are the short name for a dog breed named the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. It is a hunting dog similar in use to Golden Retrievers.

Tollers are used for duck hunting and jump in the water to swim and act as a live decoy.

Tollers are about half the size of a Golden Retriever. Tollers have a distinctive cry or yelp rather than the deep-chested bark of a Golden.

I don’t speak Canadian, but I know a bit of Austrian.

    Du bist eine dummkopf.

Canadian Tollers sounded like a sports team to me.

My first reaction was that “Tollers” were Canadians who must ride the 407 highway, complete with its electronic toll taking devices.
