    The Media, an Unreality-based Community

CNN reports that Libyans warned U.S. diplomats three days before the deadly violence that something was amiss.

Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.

He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn’t good for international business.

“The situation is frightening, it scares us,” Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded.

And yet, several paragraphs later comes this howler that the preceding paragraphs have established as a lie:

There are numerous questions about what happened at the consulate where protesters had gathered to demonstrate against the film “Innocence of Muslims,” which reportedly was made in California by a filmmaker whose identity is unclear.

Do these people even read their own reports?  Or are they just on automatic protect-Obama pilot?  Never mind answering.

This is all Romney’s fault. If only he would release his tax returns, the muslims would love us.

Media owners made the decision to go full collectivist. Someday, a history of our times will chronicle the whole mess but its a terrible thing for our democracy. How can monolithic thinking be good in any public institution?

Even Thomas Friedman, unknown for his critical thinking skills, observed a curious fact that supported his opinion that the attack was pre-planned and had nothing to do with the video.

New York Times Columnist Tom Friedman said the protests, which began in part due to an anti-Islamic film mocking the Prophet Mohammed and led to the death of four American Consulate workers, are “confused and fraudulent.”

“Twenty thousand Arab Muslims in Syria have been killed, and there hasn’t been a single protest around the Arab world, yet our embassy in Cairo and Libya, our consulates there, were ransacked because of a nut ball film on YouTube,” Friedman said.

It is telling indeed when a bunch of 7th century throw backs can outmaneuver an organized group of 21st century progressive intellectuals in the field of public relations. al Qaeda operatives used a two month old video to incite a gullible group of locals to attack the embassy as a diversionary tactic to deliberately get the embassy staff to evacuate making themselves vulnerable to attack in transit.

This tactic is something we would expect of well trained special forces. Which kind of begs the question, did al Qaeda have help in planning a well executed attack or have these throw backs evolved? I sense the Quds at work. It would not be the first time that Iran’s Quds forces have worked with al Qaeda at arms length as they did in Iraq.

The chess board is now set with all the pieces in play. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been very busy in his calculations for the end game. The end game? The revelation of the Mahdi. Ahmadinejad is a member of this fringe Shiite cult and their dedicated aim is to set the stage for revealing the Mahdi, their messiah. Take a step back from the isolated incidents and connect the dots: Israel and the West preparing to attack Iran, Iran goading them to do so with nuclear weapons development, tumult throughout the Muslim world, etc. An attack on Iran will drive the price of oil through the roof and crash all the world’s economies creating worldwide chaos. Ahmadinejad wants an attack on Iran because his beliefs require it to bring forth the Mahdi. This is all apart of their plan.
