Free access to dancing docs is a human right

Fortunately, I missed most of the Olympics opening ceremony.

Reader Matt sent this link to the BBC with the request “Please tell me this will get a post!!:

AP also is running this photo and explanation:

Actors lying on beds meant to represent Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) perform during the Opening Ceremony at the 2012 Summer Olympics

My response to Matt was – “send me the video and it will be” — but there doesn’t appear to be a video of this segment available.

The IOC is sending copyright notices to take down YouTube videos:

I did manage to find this video, however:

If anyone finds a video of the dancing docs segment, post the link in the comments.

    But I told you…..

But they can do what they like -it’s their ooening ceremony & their NHS.

By the percentage of debt to gdp now & proposed to 2016 GB is slightly better than USA.

If the crunch comes -both health systems will need be tightened considerably or adapt in other ways..

Not everyone involved is in the tank for sub-standard medical care. Note that they choose the theme from the Exorcist. A warning, perhaps, that the NHS is the devil’s handiwork.

I watched the entire opening ceremony, it was like a tribute to the 99%… chimney sweeps, smokestacks spewing, people that looked like potato farmers that came in from rooting around in dirt and picked up Cheesehead Socialist drumbeats just like up in Wisconsin Capitol Bldg.

The Socialized Medicine tribute just left you shaking your head, and Matt Lauer, NBC hosts with their canned leftist commentary was enough to make you want to puke.
