CNN liberal commentator: Ann Romney never worked a day in her life

What do 2008 and 2012 have in common?

    The war on conservative women

CNN commenter Hilary Rosen lit into Ann Romney for never having worked a day in her life:

And Rosen is doubling down on Twitter:

Ann Romney inaugurated her own Twitter account with a response:

Update:  Rosen, a senior executive at communications firm SKDKnickerbocker, already is putting her spinning skills to work, posting a blog post at HuffPo late tonight trying to explain away her nasty comment.  The comment section there should get interesting.

Well this was fun . Any movie about “Banned ” will be How to annoy 75 Pseudo Salt of the Earth types with mere questioning of their logic.

To Herm -yes My Mother also had 5 kids & we lived in borderline poverty -happy for us kids /miserable for adults.

When the no 5 was 11 months old she went to work in a factory & loved it. We had food on the table . At 11 years of age I looked after the baby & the 4 year old till I was 17 every morning & afternoon & did the weekly shopping.

So yes -work outside the house is good for families.

Also -working in the factory for 30 years allowed her to accrue a retiement savings & with the 100% owrnership of her home she was worth 400,000 on her exit.

And yes I got my rewards for my hard family work I did as inheritance (Btw no tax ).

You realize, having 400k in asset would have made her part of the 1%… and not paying taxes…what about your “fair” share?

Wonder if you realize you just described part of the “good old days” conservatives yearn for and liberals mock. A time when families worked together, and didn’t look for a govt program to take care of their kids. Try leaving a 4th old and 11month baby in the care of an 11 year old, and todays social workers would put all of you in three different foster homes and charge your mother with negligence.

DocWahala, never been called salt of earth before… Salty, yes.

CNN liberal commentator: Ann Romney never worked a day in her life

Neither has Barack Obama but you don’t hear the blithering propagandist kvetching about that. And Obama’s the actual President, for Pete’s sake, not a contender for First Lady. Welllll…….

[…] better way to boost the voter turn out than to tell them that they are worthless.  CNN commentator Hilary Rosen summarily insulted millions of mothers when she declared that Ann Romney didn’t work a day in […]

[…] surrogate Hilary Rosen attacked stay-at-home moms saying that Ann Romney (who raised five boys) “never worked a day in her life”. […]
