What did you say your name was?

What did you say your name was?

Thanks to reader Glenn who spotted this in Woodlands, Texas, and sent me an e-mail with the subject line “Is dissent still patriotic?”:

Spotted while stopped at a red light in the Woodlands, TX. The driver went on to turn left (go figure.)

    I’m sure these are regurgitations of previous entries, but at least they’re plastered in a neat and orderly fashion. They read;

    Dissent is Patriotic
WAKE UP before it’s too late!
Turn off your TV- Think for yourself
Don’t support the troops- SAVE THEM!
    DEMAND THE TRUTH
Screw Left and Right- CHOOSE LIBERTY
The Official 9-11 story IS A BIG LIE
    END THE FED
    INVESTIGATE 9-11; False Flag Terrorism
Some unintelligible blather about being BETRAYED
    Ron Paul rEVOLution
WAKE UP SHEEPLE! (blah blah blah)

The car owner forgot “LEGALIZE POT!” or some variation of that – all the Paulites seem to think illegal drugs need to be made legal (their reasoning is something to do with prohibition and liberty). But I guess that is already happening out West, so…….

Paulites (or as Mark Levin calls them, “RuePaul supporters”) are so predictable. He didn’t need the “Ron Paul R-EVOL-UTION” sticker. Meh.

Where’s the joke? The guy supports Ron Paul’s issues and thinks 9-11 was an inside job (not one of Paul’s issues, for those who have filed him under “all things I disagree with”). Why imply the guy is being hypocritical about dissent? All these issues are dissents from republican and democratic orthodoxy. Looks like some good old Paul bashing to me. But if it weren’t for foreign policy and poor delivery you’d think he was the second coming of Reagan. I like Cain, Bachmann, Perry, Newt, and Palin too, but they all have major weaknesses as well.

I’m all for the decriminalization of pot simply due to practical and financial reasons. Legalize, regulate and tax it! Far too much money has been spent on the unwinable “war on drugs.”

That said, Paul was on Sunday’s Meet the Press and actually did a pretty good job. But there is still that attachment to the fringe that most Americans cannot identify with.

As far as 9/11 conspiracy nuts are concerned… What can one say? To the loony bin dumpster with them all!

Clearly, we have to forgive the driver of that car… he/she is a Houston Rockets fan. And as we all know, Rockets fans have fewer brain cells than Cubs fans.

Thank you, thank you! I’ll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitress.
