Reverend Wright is off limits, but a painted-over rock is page 1 at WaPo

Reverend Wright is off limits, but a painted-over rock is page 1 at WaPo

You need no better example of the political corruption of our mainstream media than the page 1 headline at The Washington Post, At Perry camp, racially charged name lingered.

There is no story behind the headline.

The article itself reveals that the offensive name of the camp, painted on a rock near the entrance, was painted over by Perry’s father soon after they started hunting at the camp in the early 1980s.

But WaPo made sure to put the offensive word near the top of the article, so that the charge would stick in readers’ memories.  It’s not until later in the article that they state the facts.  And even then, WaPo cites anonymous sources discounting the precise years in which it was painted over, but never the fact that it was painted over.

A statement issued by the Perry campaign denies that his family ever owned the property, confirms that the rock was painted over in the early 1980s, and that the name officially was changed by the State of Texas in 1991.

I have warned people about the upcoming election, and not to take much comfort in the current polling.

Our mainstream media is biased beyond comprehension, trying to bury Obama’s 20-year association with his mentor Jeremiah Wright while putting a painted-over rock on page 1.  How many parishioners at Wright’s church did WaPo interview as to Obama’s claim that he never heard Wright’s race-baiting and anti-American speeches, even though they were sold in the lobby?

    Take nothing for granted.

A great example what awaits the Republican candidate. The talk about Sarah Palin being ostracized by the LSM and therefore unelectable is classic example. They have investigated her so much and so well their is nothing left to print except the lies by Joe McGinnis and even NYT thought that overboard.

When the NYSlimes did an article on their interview with Jew hating Christiane Amanpour, they asked her what the favorite thing in her apartment was, to which she replied:

“A massive painting that I got in Iran, a few years ago, by Farideh Lashai, a friend who is also Iran’s pre-eminent abstract-experssionist painter. IT GIVES ME JOY EVERY TIME I WALK IN MY DOOR.”

What is that painting? Why, none other than two large twin towers burning.

Perhaps the good Professor will use in his “Saturday Night Race Card” entry Herman Cain’s playing the race card on Rick Perry in Cain’s interview with Amanpour.

    Nah, never happen.

No, it isn’t. You can see that in it if you like, but it’s an outright lie to claim that that is the subject of the painting. Question: when was it painted?

Disappointing that Cain would buy into the LSM spin.

I would say it reveals an unfortunate characteristic of Herman Cain’s in that he is easily flattered & manipulated by the media. Cain has spent too long in the talk radio bubble and has never actually governed.

On monday he admonished Boehner to fund FEMA now and find the money later…I’m thinking Harry Reid loved that.

Cain also stated that nationalizing banks is a good idea. huh?

His gaffe stream reveals the pattern. His PR spokesperson quit this week. He’s going on a book tour. He reveals no concept of long term campaign strategy but is more of a celebrity. His 999 plan is a “gimmick” that would raise taxes.
In Texas alone sales tax would go up to 18%.

Gov. Perry has landed John Bolton to advise his on Foreign Policy & Steve Forbes is on his economic advisory team.

Cain is a populist and an opportunist & not a very politically smart one at that.

It appears it’s also the Big Story at Hot Air. The Romney-uber-alles crowd there has declared it OVER for Perry for this.
