New Hampshire Republican debate in song

New Hampshire Republican debate in song

Differing impressions of tonight’s Republican debate in New Hampshire:

    According to Mitt Romney:

Tonight’s the night that the lights went out in Texas

    According to Rick Perry:

And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive

    According to Herman Cain:

Let me entertain you, let me make you smile

    According to Michele Bachmann:

I am the tax lawyer, Obama’s the tax man, I’ll cut your taxes, goo goo g’joob

    According to Newt:

I’m still glowin’, I’m still crowin’, I’m still goin’ strong

    According to Rick Santorum

Gonna ramble on, sing my song

    According to Ron Paul:

    To dream, the impossible dream

    According to Jon Huntsman

Try to remember the kind of September when life was slow, and oh so mellow

Don’t watch the debates because can’t trust most of the moderators/organizers. Already know the process is usually meant to make the candidates look bad so I refuse to let any sway my opinion.

Do enjoy the comments here but strongly agree with Valerie. We – conservatives – need to learn when and what to say on sites like this. Too many lurkers and trolls searching for ammo. IMO

Thanks, professor, for the occasional poll. Results of those are the most encouraging thing we have going right now.

    I don’t care which songs they’re singing … Here’s the song I’m singing:

Remember this: 1992 presidential election (Clinton-45 million votes, Bush senior 39 million and Perot 20 million)

again in 1996: Clinton 47 million, Dole 39 million and Perot 8 million.

I’m really getting worried that Ross Perot-I mean–Ron Paul, will go third party and we will be loathsomely stuck with Obama.

I concur. Loved what he said on F&F this morning, namely if he is the candidate he will challenge The Won to a series of 3-hour Lincoln Douglass debates and then we’d see who would be left standing. Would I love to see that!
