The Palestinians mean exactly what they say

The Palestinians mean exactly what they say

when they are talking amongst themselves or to Arabic media, and what they are saying is that the state they seek from the U.N. is just the first step in the destruction of Israel, as stated by Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki (h/t Israel Matzav)(emphasis mine):

The settlement should be based upon the borders of June 4, 1967. When we say that the settlement should be based upon these borders, President [Abbas]understands, we understand, and everybody knows that the greater goal cannot be accomplished in one go.

If Israel withdraws from Jerusalem, evacuates the 650,000 settlers, and dismantles the wall – what will become of Israel? It will come to an end…

If we say that we want to wipe Israel out… C’mon, it’s too difficult. It’s not [acceptable] policy to say so. Don’t say these things to the world. Keep it to yourself.

MEMRI is an invaluable source of information. They translate virtually everything broadcast in Arabic or other languages used in the Middle East, to monitor what is being said on the airwaves. They exposed the Syrian “Micky Mouse” kid’s show that taught and encouraged martyrdom as a life goal. They exposed many clerics preaching the destruction of Israel, the US, Great Britain, and all the west. And so much more.

So, why doesn’t MEMRI’s translation efforts manage to inform and affect our media, our foreign policy? And I don’t just mean in this administration – that is obvious, unfortunately. (That is not an entirely rhetorical question. 😉 )

Thanks for the post. Maybe now someone will pick it up in the mainstream……..not holding my breath.

How can Netanyahu not know this and still think there is anything to negotiate with the pfakistinians? You might as well have had the Jewish Councils of Europe negotiate a peace and protection plan with Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin and then expect them to keep their “words”.

Netanyahu knows all this, but he sold out long ago to the powers that rule Israel. His desire to be Prime Minister overweighed every other consideration. He talks a good talk, but he has no backbone. We saw this about a month into his first term as PM, when he gave away Hevron. He’s never so much as expressed regret about that.

And don’t forget that the Palestinian’s “ambassador” to Lebanon promised that the Palestinians in the refugee camps — including the Palestinians in refugee camps in what is to become the new State of Palestine — will NOT be granted Palestinian citizenship.

The astounding evil represented by these miscreants is almost beyond belief.

    However, this situation was foreseen: “Since they have incited me with a ‘no-god,’ and provoked me with their empty idols, I will incite them with a ‘no-people’;
with a foolish nation I will provoke them.”

And there are millions of Jewish people around the world who support a Palestinian State because they have sympathy for those people.

I think they should put a caveat in any agreement they make with the Palestinians for a state of their own. They should include a clause that says if the Palestinians ever use their new land to attack Israel, all Holocaust Memorials and Museums will be closed, because after all, even though the Jewish people preach, “Remember”, too many of them have absolutely no concept of what it really means to have advance knowledge about people who wish to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth.

How can they possibly continue to preach, “Remember”, when they support people like this?

Unless and until the Palis repudiate the Hamas Covenant http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp
    there will be no peace.

And unless the rest of the Muslim world repudiates it, there will be no respect for Islam.
