Keep commemorating 9/11 and your mission will be accomplished

You could work hard and be happy. I’m certainly not against that.

But if you really want to accomplish the goal of this bumper sticker, just keep commemorating 9/11. That annoys Paul Krugman and his many friends in the left-blogosphere more than anything.

And if you weren’t happy before, you will be when you think of how pathetic Krugman and friends have become that the nation commemorating 9/11 causes foam to leak from the corners of their mouths and to drip down onto their copies of The NY Times.

Thanks to reader Linda in Tennessee who spotted this bumper sticker on a car in a Lowes parking lot:

I think that just being happy annoys liberals. They seem to be perpetually discontented, hostile, angry.

It’s an attitude of outrage at not getting things their way, perhaps.

Whatever it is, however you do it, annoying liberals is fun! Thanks for the smile today. 😀

You’re right, DINORightMarie, as is the Professor.

A great deal of lefties are angry people. And the only thing that makes them feel alive, it seems, is finding things to be indignant about … then they have to show the world how indignant they are. These days, it appears nothing is too silly to get them started waxing indignant.

It’s really an ego problem in my opinion. They feel the need to build themselves up by convincing themselves they are better people than others. It’s all a mind game they play with themselves.

Being happy works. I prefer mocking them. Using their tactics against them. It generally brings more out of the woodwork. As long as the lights aren’t on.

We should do both. The 9/11 terrorist attack marks another “never forget” moment, lest we repeat history.

We reject imperialists (e.g., Islamic caliphates, Japanese) and yet we embrace people who were subject to their control.

We reject fascists (e.g., Italians) and yet we embrace people who were subject to their control.

We reject socialists (e.g., Nazis) and yet we embrace people who were subject to their control.

We reject communists (e.g., Soviets, Chinese) and yet we embrace people who were subject to their control. Well, maybe not the Chinese, who we neither reject nor accept. They seem to have developed a hybrid system (not so different from the Soviets, ultimately), which has been accepted by many, if not most, people; or, maybe it’s because they have not attempted to overtly establish a global empire.

We reject all forms of progressive left-wing ideology and yet we moderate between unaccountable liberty and totalitarianism. Ideally, totalitarian policies would be complete replaced with self-moderating behavior guided through moral knowledge. Unfortunately, we are all vulnerable to corruption and there are individuals who choose to fail (e.g., criminals and others who conduct involuntary exploitation).

In all things we work to marginalize the reemergence of totalitarianism and anarchy. All for the express purpose of optimally preserving individual dignity.
