Sometime today the 1,000th User registered here.
Exactly two months after registration opened with the move away from Blogger, and about six weeks after The 500.
I haven’t forgotten about Phase 2, it’s just that things have been a bit busy.
Thanks for signing on. I’ll stop now, before I get all reflective, and stuff.

I am glad to be part of the 1000. I do truly love this blog and I check it almost everyday. Very interesting insight. I even like looking at the blogs you read. Many things on the site to read a link too. Thank you Mr Jacobson for your time and effort. Excellent work here!
Legal Insurrection is one of the 5 blogs I check at least daily if not more often along with Instapundit, Powerlineblog, FiveFeetofFury, and Lucianne.
I only have one question. How can you live in Rhode Island and teach at Cornell?
Well, let’s just say I’m doing my part to increase our dependence on foreign oil. I hope Obama gets us those car windmills soon.
I’m pretty sure I’m in the “100”
LI is definitely one of my first stops in the morning, and again throughout the day. I love the content, and the content from commenters. So much so that I hope 2.0 includes a daily Open Thread so that this will become the place I post nuggets I find elsewhere.
That’s something I’m thinking of, if any other readers have thoughts on an off-the-front page set up, I’d be interested in hearing about it.
Obviously, I check several times a day. You can tell that from my blathering posts.
Keep up the good work. Before I found this site I didn’t know there conservative lawyers…
