We approach the end of the light bulb as we know it, unless the revolution succeeds. Even so, it’s doubtful the lost jobs will return, so the Mexican incandescent light bulb smuggling routes will open soon.
Nonetheless, I thought this would be a good time to publish once again the operatic ode to our future, created and executed by longtime Legal Insurrection reader Bill Dyszel, creator of the now classic Blagojevich Polka.

This is a classic. Instapundit is always posting links to Amazon bulb sales, suggesting readers stock up on incandescent bulbs … I hope Professor Reynolds sees and links to this post.
LukeHandCool (who just threw away one of those worthless curlicue bulbs the other day after it quit … and who has never seen one of those bulbs last a year, let alone the seven or eight years they are advertised to last … and who is tempted to flood the appropriate agency’s phones with “Let My Incandescent Bulbs Go!!”)
Just saw the Blagojevich Polka … genius!! Dare I say, geniusevich.
Thank you, one and all!
