Bill Clinton – The Only Adult Democrat

Bill Clinton – The Only Adult Democrat

    That’s saying a lot.

Unlike the children who run the Democratic Party, Clinton recognizes that Medicare and other entitlements must be reformed, and that the Democratic Party is harming the country by making “do nothing” the main focus of Democratic Party campaign strategy:

But ABC News was behind the scenes with the Wisconsin Congressman and GOP Budget Committee Chairman when he got some words of encouragement none other than former President Bill Clinton.

“So anyway, I told them before you got here, I said I’m glad we won this race in New York,” Clinton told Ryan, when the two met backstage at a forum on the national debt held by the Pete Peterson Foundation. But he added, “I hope Democrats don’t use this as an excuse to do nothing.”

Ryan told Clinton he fears that now nothing will get done in Washington.

“My guess is it’s going to sink into paralysis is what’s going to happen. And you know the math. It’s just, I mean, we knew we were putting ourselves out there. You gotta start this. You gotta get out there. You gotta get this thing moving,” Ryan said.

Clinton told Ryan that if he ever wanted to talk about it, he should “give me a call.” Ryan said he would.

Bill Clinton is a malevolent sexual reprobate, who should not only have been impeached and convicted for perjury, but also prosecuted for rape. He is the worst kind of political manipulator – Nixonian even – and the worst kind of sexual predator – Kennedyesque even.

There. We got that out of the way.

Clinton is also one smart son of a bitch. Unlike the current president, he can expound upon any topic with ease, at length, at the drop of a hat without a teleprompter. If you've ever stopped to watch and listen to him, you'd know that. It's how he applies his intellect that I have a problem with.

Bill Clinton may not agree with the point of view of Conservatives, but make no mistake, his tacking to the middle after getting shellacked in the midterms saved our collective butts for quite some time – until Obama showed up, precisely.

It took 18 years, but I finally found something that I like about Bill Clinton. I'd gladly take two more terms of him than to endure another week of Obama. (I'd have to add a codicil to that to say it would be null and void should Palin show up at the front door of 1600 Penna. Ave.)

    i never liked the guy.

but he is a political savant.

"Clinton told Ryan that if he ever wanted to talk about it, he should 'give me a call.' Ryan said he would."

If I were a Democrat — particularly an activist — the question I'd angrily be asking my political compatriots today would be, "What the hell was THAT?

Was he implicitly offering to help a Republican congressman defeat or at least stymie the Democrats on a huge political issue? After the results in the NY 26th, many of them already see this as their ticket back to control in D.C. And Billy Bob is out there offering ways to help "public enemy number one" look good?

You can bet Bill earned hisself a cold stare from Hillary after that little faux pas! Two words may pave passed her lips as well, spittle-laden with sarcasm . . . "Nice going!"

Given the exposure, I'm sure most observers would say there goes any chance that call would have amounted to a hill of beans. Circle the drain, baby!"

Even if it had remained a private conversation, Ryan likely would have probably gotten little more than a couple of generalizations out of Clinton.

After the exposure . . . well, Ryan may place the call but "The Wizard of Is" will not be offering him anything more meaningful than Happy Talk 101.

But at least now, Clinton will likely feel a wee bit defensive and perhaps he may even compelled to 'splain hisself to a few folks. Heh!

    Serves him right!

For context, recall that Clinton publicly embarrassed Obama during their joint press conference.

some crooks are smarter than others.

the Clinton's didn't hang on for two terms by being as dumb as Obama.
